I am proud to announce that ASMAC Limited is now in full operation after spinning off from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2003. The market-demand of such services is high as China has already become the global center of manufacturing and the economy growth in this region has far exceeded the global average. By adding its best value to accelerate the business success of our customers, ASMAC will also grow and become the leader in materials-related consultancy in this fertile region.
ASMAC team has over 60 man-years of experience in materials analysis, materials engineering, and project management. In addition, a new strength of the ASMAC operation is its linkage with Surface Science Western in Canada (www.uwo.ca/ssw). SSW has 18 full-time professionals in providing materials analysis and R&D consultancy services to industry and has been the leader in this field in Canada for 26 years with the issues of over 15,000 confidential consultancy reports. The linkage will allow ASMAC to largely increase its knowledge base and capacity.
To maximize its cost-effectiveness for its customers, the new ASMAC operation also effectively leverages the omnipotent central resources of the Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation and other research institutions in this region.
